Acceptance of Responsibility

The Core Story Process is a structured personal interview and story-mapping process designed to help individuals explore personal history, thought patterns, beliefs, wounds, and related themes. The purpose of training is to teach you to facilitate the Core Story Process. The Certificate of Completion for training does not certify you as a facilitator to provide psychotherapy, counseling, diagnosis, treatment planning, crisis response, or any other credentialed or licensed professional service. 

I understand I am solely responsible for how I use the Core Story Process, for any services I provide, and for working within the scope of my education, training, credentials, licensure, professional responsibilities, and applicable laws, regulations, ethical standards, and licensing requirements. I understand that Coaching. Life Matters does not direct, control, supervise, or assume responsibility for how any facilitator, coach, counselor, therapist, ministry leader, or other individual chooses to use the Core Story Process outside of the training sessions. Coaching. Life Matters does not guarantee any particular personal, emotional, relational, therapeutic, counseling, coaching, ministry, educational, or professional outcome from use of the Core Story Process.

Any person who acts as a facilitator of the Core Story Process is solely responsible for obtaining any appropriate consent, protecting privacy and confidentiality, maintaining appropriate boundaries, responding appropriately to safety concerns, recognizing the limits of their own role and competence, making referrals when needed, and complying with any legal, ethical, professional, or licensing obligations that may apply.

Completion of training by Coaching. Life Matters in facilitating the Core Story Process in the absence of any specific agreement does not create any employment, agency, partnership, supervisory, representative, or fiduciary relationship between me and Coaching. Life Matters.
