UNIT IV: Skill-Building in Core Story Mapping

This unit strengthens participants’ confidence and consistency in using the Core Story Process through hands-on exercises and story-mapping practice.

Learning Goal:

By the end of this unit, participants will be able to map stories and document process outcomes with increasing confidence through guided, supported, and independent work.

What’s Included in this Unit:

• Video 7: Practical Tips for the Core Story Process
  This short video provides practical guidance to help you use the Core Story Process with greater clarity and confidence. It is especially useful for participants who are newer to the process.

• Submit five practice Core Story Process maps completed with volunteers. Each volunteer should be aware that you are still in training.

• Practice Exercise: Rewatch Video 6 with a friend. As your friend answers the Core Story Questions, practice mapping their story. Repeat this exercise as often as needed until you feel ready to ask the questions and complete the mapping independently.
